Arcade Fire release tracklisting for The Suburbs

The hype around Arcade Fire continues to grow as more news comes from the band that many are already saying will release the best album of 2010.

The band recently released the tracklisting for their third album, The Suburbs, which is due in stores on August 3rd (via CoS). It’s packed with 16 tracks and you’ve already heard a lot of them thanks to YouTube videos and Internet leaks. No surprises in music anymore these days.

But there are some songs that still remain a mystery. Like the songs “Half Light I” and “Half Light II (No Celebration)” as well as “Sprawl I (Flatland)” and “Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains).” Two two-part songs with titles that sound like video games on an album that is 16 tracks long? I have a feeling AF are swinging for the fences on this LP.

The full tracklisting is down below. Feel free to peruse at your own leisure.
