Watch: Weezer – “Represent”

America has a new superhero and his name is Landon Donovan. In the 91st of today’s World Cup match between the U.S. and Algeria, Donovan kicked the winning goal which cemented the team’s trip to the round of 16. It was amazing.
Now we all know that Weezer released a song for the team called “Represent” which isn’t the best song…actually it’s not good at all. But, in the spirit of the U.S. victory, I’m posting the video that Weezer made for the tune.
It features footage of the team in training and in matches spliced with footage of the band playing on stage wearing U.S. soccer track suits and Rivers Cuomo singing the song in a recording studio. Weezer better thank their lucky stars that the U.S. won today otherwise this video would just be in bad taste.
You can check it out down below and you can download the song at Weezer’s website.

Im inexperienced to blogs and just heard about trackbacks, which I imagine is a means for me to acknowledge your site through a linkback through mine. I ran into your site in the “currently buzzing” part of one of the bookmarking sites that I was posting to on Social Monkee. I’m hoping this blogging thing works out. It would be a tremendous way for a single parent to bring in a couple of spare bucks every month. I would love for my blog to show up in that “Most Active Sites” list like yours.
