Brandon Flowers releasing solo album, Flamingo, on September 14th

Brandon Flowers will release the new Killers record his solo debut album, Flamingo, on September 14th. His new single, Crossfire, can be checked out at his website and downloaded on iTunes.

Initially, Flowers wrote the songs to be on the next Killers record but after the band decided to go on hiatus, he took the songs into the band’s studio and recorded them for himself. The album boasts an impressive roster of producers: Daniel Lanois, Brendan O’Brien and Stuart Price.

“Crossfire” will officially be released on August 23rd and, according to NME, other songs on the record include “Jilted Lovers and Broken Hearts”, “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas”, and “Playing With Fire”. In the meantime, you can just oogle Mr. Flowers and that facial hair ensemble that I’m not sure whether to like or not…I’m gonna lean towards not.
