Watch: Gorillaz feat. Snoop Dogg – “Clint Eastwood”
I know it’s another post about the Glastonbury festival but I’ll be damned if there weren’t some ridiculous performances at this year’s installment. Case in point: Gorillaz and Snoop Dogg performing the monster jam “Clint Eastwood.”
For the first time this year, Gorillaz actually got Snoop to perform live on stage with them. But it wasn’t to collaborate on the song “Welcome To The World of the Plastic Beach” where the D-O-double-G lays down a few verses. Snoop took to the stage and lifted lyrics from his song “Drop It Like It’s Hot” and placed them into the groove of the always popular Gorillaz tune “Clint Eastwood”. Watch the performance up top. More performances from Gorillaz’ set can be seen here.
Glastonbury went all-the-fuck-out for their 40th anniversary and anyone that’s there this year is definitely getting their money’s worth. How the hell are they gonna top it come next year? Oh wait! U2 still has to play don’t they?
