Cage The Elephant finish second album
Cage The Elephant made a pretty cool revelation on their Facebook page quite recently and it got a lot of fans excited:
just so everyone who is wondering knows….YES…. we are done with the second album and started on the third…..just playing the waiting game now:( ….not to worry, we put as much love in the second as the first:)
So not only is their second album done but they’re already working on the third! It sucks that we’ll have to wait due to their record label slowing up the process. Perhaps this will get the boys moving on releasing their third album independently and online. Everyone else is doing it, CTE! Time to jump on the bandwagon.
Now, if you’re still in love with the first album’s songs, then you’ll probably want to see these guys in concert soon. Well they are playing the Voodoo Experience in New Orleans over Halloween weekend. But if you need something a bit sooner, they’re touring North America starting July 31st in Montreal, Canada. You can see all of their tour dates here.

The band themselves is intentionally holding the record back themselves, (As stated in interviews,) because they are waiting for their first album to lose steam, which may take awhile.

They are awesome live, I saw them with AutoVaughn and Morning Teleportation and they all went crazy, they were throwing turkey slices, bananas, and squirting slime from a water gun. They are opening up for STP soon if not already.

Yeah that’s right, Cage! Release the album independently! That way you can make barely any money and kill the record industry even more! Everyone is doing it!
I’ve never seen this blog before, but it sucks.
