U2 reschedule North American tour dates



So if you were one of the hundreds of thousands of people that bought a ticket to see U2 play in the U.S. or Canada this summer and got bummed out that they postponed the dates, hopefully you hung onto that ticket.

A video was posted at the band’s official website featuring Bono, The Edge, Larry Mullen and Adam Clayton where they confirmed the rescheduling of all the North American dates. Bono seemed to be in fine form, his back no longer injuring him as he said he was “rebuilt by German engineering” and that he was 100% ready to tackle the U.S. dates next year and their upcoming dates in Europe.

The rescheduled shows will kick off on May 21, 2011 with a show in Denver and they’ll go until July 23rd with a show in Minneapolis. As I wrote up top, hopefully you hung onto that ticket because it’ll be valid for the shows next year. If you want to buy tickets for next year’s shows, that info hasn’t been revealed yet.

All the tour dates are listed down below as well as the video featuring U2 who filmed it in a recording studio where they are putting some new songs on tape. Hmmm? Perhaps a new U2 EP is in order?
