John Dolmayan says System of a Down may tour in 2011



Now I’m not somebody to be tellin’ tall tales but the video up top speaks for itself. System of a Down drummer John Dolmayan was recently playing at a poker tournament and, during an interview, said that System would probably tour in 2011.

Dolmayan points out that System is still “on hiatus” but then reveals that the band are “probably gonna be touring next year.” He goes on to say that none of the band members have sat down and discussed it with one another but, he adds, “it’s looking like it’s gonna happen.”

I know we’ve heard hype like this from band members before but Dolmayan seems pretty confident about it. So could this be the announcement we’ve all been waiting for? Made by the drummer of the band at a poker tournament with a weirdo interviewing him? We’ll have to wait and see…

    Yes, he could have been practicing his Poker Face, but lets be optimistic rather.
