One Day As A Lion playing shows this weekend
In case you forgot, Rage Against The Machine frontman Zach de la Rocha has another band called One Day As A Lion and it looks like they’re playing live for the first time this weekend.
The L.A. Times music blog Pop & Hiss (via CoS) reports that de la Rocha and Mars Volta drummer Jon Theodore will play two shows this weekend at undisclosed locations in California. Now I know that doesn’t really help if you’re trying to actually go to the show so hopefully this will narrow down your search a bit. On Saturday, July 17th, the duo will be playing in Pomona, CA and Sunday, July 18th, the band will play in Los Angeles.
Tickets for the shows can be bought starting today. For the Pomona show, you can buy them in person at the Glasshouse Record Store in Pomona or at Fingerprints Music in Long Beach, CA. For the L.A. show, you can buy them in person at Origami Vinyl. Or you could just click here and get the tickets online because nobody buys tickets from a box office anymore.
