Rage Against The Machine playing show in Hollywood

People in the UK may have been the ones to bring Rage Against The Machine out of hiding this summer, but come July 23rd, the band returns home to the U.S. and will play a show for the first time in two years in Hollywood, CA.

reports that RATM will play a benefit show with Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band for Zach de la Rocha’s Sound Strike movement. The Sound Strike includes bands, artists and actors who are boycotting Arizona for passing their new immigration law. They will refuse to perform in Arizona until the state overturns the law.

Ticket info hasn’t been released yet but all the proceeds will go to Sound Strike and the Sound Strike Fund. The proceeds will provide “much needed resources to community organizations, student groups, legal defense funds and assist activists targeting key voting districts for voter registration.” For more info on Sound Strike, you can check out their .

Welcome home, RATM! Now get out there and raise some hell!

Outstanding read, I just now passed this onto a colleague that was doing some on-line research on that. And he in fact ordered me lunch for the reason that I uncovered it for him laugh So i want to rephrase that: Thank you for lunch!
