RiO! Band of the Week – Permanent Ability

Since we’re sitting in the middle of summer, I find it fitting that our new Band of the Week comes from California and brings a sound that we’re all too familiar with and refuse to turn away. Meet Permanent Ability.



Los Angeles springs forth yet another magical, musical concoction in the form of these four gentlemen. Tapping into the sounds of Incubus and Red Hot Chili Peppers, PA bring the noise and the funk to your ears. Their new EP was even produced by Jim Wirt whose previous credits include working with bands like Incubus and Hoobastank so you can definitely hear the influence.
