Over the past year, Ozzy Osbourne and Tony Iommi have been battling over who gets control of the name Black Sabbath. Osbourne even sued Iommi at one point, saying that the Black Sabbath axeman tried to name himself the owner of the name and the brand. How would this battle come to an end?!

Apparently with a press conference. Beatcrave reports that the former Sabbath bandmates are now buddies and have “amicably resolved their problems over the ownership of the Black Sabbath name.” I’m guessing they just got tired of dealing with legal issues because they have better things to worry about…like counting money from their royalty checks.

The court proceedings have been discontinued and the two rockers want everyone to know that “the issue was never personal, it was always business.” I really have to start using that excuse with my friends. Next time I try and sleep with one of their girlfriends, I’ll just drop that bomb on them. I’m sure it’ll go over well.
