Watch: Iron Maiden – “The Final Frontier”

Iron Maiden’s The Final Frontier will be in stores on August 16th. The band has been on tour throughout North America promoting the album but a new bit of hype was just released by the band. The first music video for the album and it’s for the title track.



The video takes us to outer space where an English space smuggler has obtained a mysterious key is trying to evade the band’s mascot, Eddie, in a space battle reminiscent of Star Wars. Eddie, by the way, is looking much more alien this time around.

The spaceman and Eddie fight it out on a planet while trying to get an artifact the same way Indiana Jones did in the Temple of Doom. But I’ve written too much. Why not just hit play up top and see it for yourself. Even if the script is a bit cheesy, you get new Maiden playing in the background so it’s not a total loss. Oh BTW, today is the last tour date for Maiden in the U.S. so if you missed them then it truly does suck to be you.

    um, you got the movie titles mixed up. you said temple of doom, i think you mean raiders of the lost ark.
