Watch: Jack White & Dave Grohl perform at the White House
Back in June, there was a concert held at the White House in honor of Paul McCartney for winning the Gershwin award for Popular Music. Stars from all music genres came to perform at the concert and to pay tribute to Sir Macca. The concert was filmed and will air on PBS on July 28th. But since we can’t wait that long, we got some videos of the performance that you’re sure to enjoy.
Up top is a video of Jack White performing an acoustic version of “Mother Nature’s Son” (via TwentyFourBit) as McCartney and President Obama sit all of four feet away from the Third Man maestro. Down below this paragraph, you can watch Dave Grohl rock out to “Band on the Run” with a backing band (via CoS).
You can head over to PBS.org to see more videos from the White House performance. Again, it will air on July 28th on whatever channel PBS is in your region.
