Gorillaz reveal all North American tour dates
It was exciting to find out that Gorillaz were coming to the U.S. and Canada to take all of us on a trip to Plastic Beach. But now it’s even more exciting because all the dates have finally been revealed and I now know I get two chances to see them.
We know that the tour kicks off on October 3rd in Montreal and the band will play their first headlining show on October 8th at NYC’s Madison Square Garden. But if you live in any of the major cities in the U.S. or Canada, then you should expect Damon Albarn to bring half of The Clash, Bobby Womack, De La Soul and, of course, the animated members of the band to your town.
Tickets will be on sale to the general public starting August 6th. Other venues will go on sale during the weeks following that. It’s suggested, however, that you join the band’s fan club, the Sub Division, so that you get first crack at all tickets 48 hours before they go on sale to the public.
