For a while now, the oh so lovely and talented Hayley Williams and her band, Paramore, have been headlining the Honda Civic tour and brought along Tegan & Sara and New Found Glory along for the ride. With their recent headlining gig at Lollapalooza behind them and their current tour underway, Green Day decided to let their fans in on a little secret at a show in Denver, Colorado on August 28th. That show was being recorded for a new live album they’re releasing so they decided to treat the crowd by playing a brand new song.
There are many reasons why I feel Radiohead is the greatest band in the world. Rather than listing them all, I’d simply like to add one more to the pile. A concert they put on in Prague in August of 2009 was captured on video by a group of fans scattered throughout the crowd. The fans then compiled the footage and made it into a full concert film. Radiohead liked the idea so much that they gave the filmmakers the master audio from the soundboard to put into the movie. Also, the film is available to download online for free.
