Ozzy wants to start a blues-rock supergroup

Ozzy may not want to just play heavy metal anymore. He wants to explore the vast musical wilderness and try his hand at some other genre.
In an interview with VH1 Radio Networks (via Blabbermouth), Ozzy first expressed that being him is absolutely fantastic. But he’s worried that his fans will think he’s given up on them if he tries some other form of music.
“I mean, it’s been wonderful being the singer of Black Sabbath,” Osbourne said. “Having all those hits through Sabbath and then on my solo career is one thing, but then if I want to do anything branching away from the heavy stuff, people will go, ‘Oh, he’s sold out. Oh, he’s not doing it. Oh, he’s singing a love song. Oh, he’s singing about the⦒ or whatever.”
But, if this were a perfect world, what would Ozzy’s next musical move be? “I would dearly like to get a mini-supergroup together. Nothing like heavy rock, like a bluesy vibe.” Osbourne also said this band would be a fictitious group to make that record.
I’m personally thinking that Jack White and The Black Keys should meet up with the Prince of Darkness and make this fictitious band happen. You can’t get any better at blues-rock than them. Plus, as we all know, anything that Jack White works on is automatically brilliant so I’m not seeing any downside to this collaboration. Let’s get the ball rolling!
