Axl Rose’s Twitter account was hacked
Last night, quite a few Guns N’ Roses fans got quite the scare when Axl Rose wrote on his Twitter account that “All upcoming Guns N’ Roses dates are officially cancelled” and that people should “contact your place of purchase for any refunds.”
However, it has been confirmed that Rose’s account was indeed hacked. A spokesperson for the band has revealed that the tweet wasn’t written by Rose and that all GnR dates, including the Reading and Leeds festivals in the UK next week, are still happening.
So no need to panic, people. You’ll still get to see Axl Rose and his merry band of rotating musicians play the tunes that you know and love. You can sleep soundly once again.
