Watch: David Gilmour & Roger Waters perform together
Before I write anything about the video above, let us all give thanks to our brothers in blogging at Consequence of Sound for finding this gem.
Now then, onto the video. Up top is the full performance that Roger Waters and David Gilmour put on for the Hoping Foundation back in July. Previously, no videos had existed until now. It shows both Pink Floyd members rocking through their biggest hits like “Wish You Were Here,” “Comfortably Numb,” “Another Brick in the Wall (Part II)” and a cover of Phil Spector’s “To Know Him Is To Love Him.”
We’re still waiting on Waters and Gilmour to confirm which date they’ll play “Comfortably Numb” on Waters’ upcoming The Wall tour. My fingers are still crossed for a NYC/NJ show.
