Slayer releasing vinyl box set

Slayer continues to keep their name in our minds in 2010. First, it was the epic World Painted Blood. Then a European “Big Four” tour, followed by a tour in North America with Megadeth, Testament and Anthrax. Now, just for funsies, they’re releasing a box set of all ten albums that they’ve released with American Recordings.
The Vinyl Conflict is what it’s called and it’ll feature the following albums: Reign In Blood (1986), South of Heaven (1988), Seasons In The Abyss (1990), the double-record Live Decade of Aggression (1991), Divine Intervention (1994), Undisputed Attitude (1998), God Hates Us All (2001), Christ Illusion (2006), and World Painted Blood (2009).
All the albums were pressed onto 180-gram audiophile vinyl from the original master tapes. It’s available for pre-order now if you head over to their website. The set will be in stores on October 12th. Not to mention that three of their concerts — Live Intrusion, War at the Warfield and Still Reigning — are now available on DVD.
