Watch: Arcade Fire – “Ready To Start”
Well we finally have our first video from Arcade Fire for a song from The Suburbs. It’s for “Ready To Start” and it defines what a black and white video in slow motion should look like.
The video popped up online courtesy of El Mundo (via CoS). It shows the band playing the song live at Hackney Empire in London and it’s considered to be the first “official” video. Although I don’t know why they didn’t take individual songs from when they played Madison Square Garden and turn those into music videos. At least then they could say Terry Gilliam directed their vids.
ANYWAYS, the video is down below. AF are currently in Europe but will be back in North America this coming September. All the tour dates are at their website.
