Weezer planning Blue Album/Pinkerton tour

If Weezer are trying to get back on the good side of their fans, then they’re about to make a solid move. In a recent interview with MTV.com, Rivers Cuomo revealed that the band are planning a Blue Album/Pinkerton tour. It’s really like a dream come true.

Here’s how the tour would work, according to Cuomo. They would “spend two nights in each city, and the first night, we play the entire Blue Album, and the second night, we play the entirety of Pinkerton.” He added that they’re currently running the idea by promoters to see if the plan would work in certain markets. Consider every market in North America officially interested.

The problem now is that if you can only afford one of the two shows to see, which one do you go to? Does your loyalty lie with the Blue Album or does Pinkerton tug at your heartstrings? My suggestion? Visit your senile grandmother every day for three weeks straight and tell her it’s your birthday every time. The money will flow right into your pocket. If you think it’s stealing, look at it this way. You’re probably in the will so technically that money is yours to begin with.
