U2 and Jay-Z will tour Australia and New Zealand together
I feel bad for Australia and New Zealand. Even though they’re a sexy island continent (Australia not New Zealand) in the middle of the ocean where our winter is their summer, they’re just so far away from everything. I always feel like they get the cold shoulder for a lot of things. Which is why they’re getting a special treat and I hate them for it.

It has been revealed that U2 will tour both AUS and NZ with hip-hop’s mightiest hero, Jay-Z. Jigga will actually be opening for Bono and crew as they play five dates. The first takes place on November 25th in Auckland, NZ and the final show will be on December 18th in Perth, Australia.
Tickets are starting at $40 in Australian currency (which is $35 in real American money) and will be on sale starting September 3rd. There will be a presale for all U2 fan club members. All the dates are listed down below. Oh, and if you’re wondering what these two will sound like on the same stage then watch the video below as well. I’d say it’s a pretty ok sound. Enjoy it Australia/New Zealand…and know that my hatred burns hotter for you by the minute.

12/01 – Melbourne, AU @ Etihad Stadium
