Listen: Jimmy Eat World – “Stop”

I’ve just heard my second new Jimmy Eat World song and I’ve become even happier. Between their single, “My Best Theory,” and now the new song, “Stop,” their new album sounds like it’ll be killer from beginning to end.

Their album, Invented, is in stores on September 28th. But the new single is out on vinyl for fans to pick up and luckily one of JEW’s fans are the boys at Antiquiet. They snatched up a copy and decided to put the B-side, “Stop,” up at their site for your listening pleasure.

The song would be classified as a “ballad,” I suppose. By that I mean it won’t make you wanna jump around like “My Best Theory” does. But it’s a solid listen with some pretty good lyrics. So do yourself a favor and head over to their website to check out the song. You can thank me later.
