Ronnie Wood Gets Flea, Slash and Eddie Vedder For New Album

Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood is gearing up to release a new solo album called I Feel Like Playing on September 27th. Now while a solo album from Wood seems like a fun idea, it helps to know that Wood felt like playing music with some other big time rockers.
Wood brought on Slash, RHCP/Atoms For Peace bassist Flea and Eddie Vedder to collaborate with him on the album (via CoS). Not to mention Kris Kristofferson, ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons, the Faces’ Ian McLagan and Gorillaz soul singer Bobby Womack. The 12-tracks on this album seem like they’ll be a real treat to listen to.
You can actually stream one of the songs, “Thing About You,” over at Wood’s website. Be sure to check out the tracklisting down below.
