Listen: Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross – Hand Covers Bruise

October 1st is the day the movie The Social Network is released in theaters. Which means October 1st is the day we get some brand new music from Trent Reznor.

Thanks to the good folks over at OneThirtyBPM, we got our hands on the first bit of music from the score of the film. Reznor and his How To Destroy Angels partner Atticus Ross were in charge of giving director David Fincher’s Facebook movie it’s musical soul. And what a dark soul it has.

The music comes nowhere near what a Nine Inch Nails track would sound like. Or at least not this one, that’s for sure. It’s a dark, brooding tone that just makes you think something ominous is right around the corner…or once you accept someone’s friend request. You can check it out by pushing play down below. Honestly, I’m excited for this movie to come out. It’s getting rave reviews and the trailers have been featuring some great music as well. I plan on buying a tub of popcorn, a large soda and some Reese’s pieces for this one.
