RiO! Band of the Week – The Hard Lessons
It’s been a while since we’ve a had a band represent Detroit as our Band of the Week. Luckily, all the bands from the Motor City have been completely stellar and this one’s no different. I present to you The Hard Lessons.
They’re an indie-rock duo that also happen to be newlyweds. Augie and Korin Visocchi, along with Ryan Vandeberghe, bring a mixture of indie-rock with alt-garage and a bit of funk’s swagger to create a sound that has allowed them to open for bands like Wolfmother and The Stooges. They were even profiled by Spin magazine as one of the bands to see at the Rothbury festival.
