RiO! Band of the Week – The Cheaters
They may be from Baltimore but our band of the week sounds nothing like what a band from “murdertown” should. Ladies and Punks, I give you The Cheaters.
Honestly, the best way to describe the sound of the Maryland foursome is written right on their website: Whiskey-fueled, home-fried rock and roll. Since recording their first album in 2006, these guys have been on the rock music hustle. They’ve been playing to sell-out audiences all over the east coast and recently opened for Bret Michaels at a show at the Maryland State Fair.
