Coldplay and Jay-Z performing New Year’s Eve show
Everyone should know by now that Jay-Z and Chris Martin of Coldplay are, like totally, BFF’s. They performed on stage at the Grammys together, they recently did a couple songs at Yankee Stadium and now they’ll be ringing in the new year together in Las Vegas.
CoS reports that the rock band and the rapper are performing an exclusive New Year’s Eve show in Sin City at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas resort. It would be a kick-ass show to go to, right? Except for one little detail…you have to be invited to go. Which means the hot shots of Vegas, L.A. and even some from NYC will be in attendance but us fans will be out at our own parties while probably listening to their music on someone’s iTunes mix.
But if you happen to be in Vegas that night, the Cosmopolitan will broadcast the concert on their 65 foot wide marquee so you can stand outside the venue and watch if you really want to.
