Radiohead help with score for Edward Norton’s new movie

Edward Norton’s forthcoming movie, Stone, which also stars Robert DeNiro, will have a score that’s heavily influenced by Radiohead. Primarily because Norton asked Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood to help out.
In an interview with Variety, Norton, who’s friends with the RH lads, said he met up with them in London while working on the script. He said that the two of them helped to lay down a sort of musical foundation for the movie’s music.
“Given the spiritual ties in this film,” said Norton. “I started talking to [Greenwood] about this idea: ‘What would you use to record this divine-like tuning sound?’” He added that Yorke and Greenwood “unloaded tons and tons of files to us of these sound experiments that they had been doing.” Norton passed these files onto John O’Brien, the film’s composer, to see how he could add onto it.
So, technically, Edward Norton was emailed some new Radiohead material that will be transformed into O’Brien’s material for the movie which means that Radiohead helped score the movie Stone. Why can’t I be good buddies with Radiohead so they can email me some awesome tracks they’ve been working on?!
