Listen: My Chemical Romance – “The Only Hope For Me Is You”
More and more hype is starting to build around the new My Chemical Romance album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, which is out November 22nd. So here’s some more hype for you in the form of a new song.
Down below you can check out the band’s second single, “The Only Hope For Me Is You,” thanks to Some Kind Of Awesome. Where their first single, “Na Na Na,” falls more into the punk-rock arena anthem, this new track has more of an electro-rock vibe. It’s the track that will most likely be remixed by a “thinking-out-of-the-box” producer so that DJ’s can have something different to play in the clubs. No one in the crowd will know the song but so long as it has a four-on-the-floor beat, those drunken fools will dance to it.
Meanwhile, for those who don’t give a shit about remixes, MCR has announced that they’ll be releasing a special Danger Days box set. By going to their website, you can pre-order the set which comes with the following items: the album, one of four collectible ray-guns and it’s corresponding mask, a 48-page photo booklet, a wooden bracelet and a three song EP from The Mad Gear & Missile Kid. The band swears up and down they don’t know who The Mad Gear & Missile Kid are…kinda like how Green Day say they’re not The Network.

man I don’t know what to think of this song. I;m still spinning the Bullets and Revenge all day, but never much into the sound of the black parade, and these two singles…hmm…..I guess I’ll have to get the album. It doesn’t sound quite like what I;m used to, but then again they never really went a certain way I guess.

I HATE to say this, but I think this song sucks
I am a big fan, but this is the worst MCR song I’ve ever heard. The beginning part is whack.

tooooo commercial! to much stars and glitter and i recognize only the voice ..the rest is like everything else ..sorry t say this but i love MCR and this is like a sad person is trying to smile very sad…very sad….:((
