Listen to four new songs from Weezer

I’m not gonna say that Weezer are the hardest working band of 2010 because I’m not mentally prepared for the verbal shitstorm that would come down on top of my head. But, as far as giving out an award for putting out the most music this year, they get that honor hands down.
After releasing their new album Hurley only a short while ago, on November 2nd two new albums from the Weez, Death To False Metal and a re-issue of their classic Pinkerton, will hit record stores. The first album is a compilation of ten tracks that were written as far back as the mid-90′s for previous albums but never made the final cuts. The re-issue features additional bonus tracks including demo versions of songs and previously unreleased tunes.
So thanks to the good folks at 107.7 The End in Seattle, you can check out two songs from Pinkerton and two songs from False Metal by going to their website. If you’re someone who’s been craving nostalgic sounding Weezer, then look no further than these songs.

Furthermore, Weezer’s upcoming Memories tour, where they’ll play Pinkerton and their “Blue Album” in their entirety, is kicking off in Los Angeles on November 26th. All the tour dates are at their website. I also found out yesterday that I was invited to BOTH of their upcoming shows in NYC in December. That’s gonna be a fun weekend.
