We like rock music more than you. It's just the way it is…

The musical guests on Conan have been solid these part three days. First it was Jack White followed by Soundgarden and on last night’s episode, the new indie “supergroup” Fistful of Mercy — with special appearance by Tom Morello — performed their song “Father’s Son.”

The track is from their debut album, As I Call You Down, and features Ben Harper, Dhani Harrison and Joseph Arthur. All three were dressed like old-school southern traveling musicians (Harper looked like he had just finished plowing his family’s farm to come play the gig) while Morello provided his signature guitar sound in the back. Sadly, the RATM guitarist didn’t dress like an old southerner for the performance.
