We like rock music more than you. It's just the way it is…

I’m normally not into “buzz bands” as I think most of them are “fucking annoying” but the debut album from Sleigh Bells, Treats, has been a favorite listen of mine this year. The concept behind the music is quite simple – vocals, guitar, drum machine – but the result is loud, catchy and very danceable.

Up top is an unofficial fan video for “Riot Rhythm” which is my personal favorite track on the whole record. It combines just the right amount of rock riff and mixes itself with a bass heavy drum beat that could easily be turned into a hip-hop track. As a matter of fact, someone already mixed Jay-Z with with six tracks from the album including this one.
