The Killers releasing new Christmas single
Looks like it’ll be a Merry Christmas for Killers fans as the band is getting ready to release their new holiday single called “Boots” on November 30th.
Consequence of Sound reports that even though the band is still on hiatus, they’re sticking to the tradition they started back in 2006 of releasing a new holiday single every year. Furthermore, proceeds from the single will benefit World AIDS Day which is on December 1st this year. More info will be coming from the band soon.
But don’t expect this single to bring the Killers back together anytime soon. Frontman Brandon Flowers still has a solo tour to do in support of his solo album, Flamingo. But maybe if you wish real hard, a Christmas miracle will happen and they’ll get back together in early 2011.
