Springsteen films intimate webcast in New Jersey

On Tuesday, December 7th, New Jersey’s favorite son came home again. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band played an intimate show in Asbury Park, NJ at The Carousel House that will be broadcast on the web before Christmas.
The Star Ledger reports that a small number of fans were lucky enough to catch The Boss performing songs off of the new two-disc album, The Promise, which features tracks that were recorded during the sessions for the 1978 album Darkness on The Edge of Town. Jackson Browne sidekick David Lindley was also in attendance and played with the band on a couple of songs. The set list is down below.
Springsteen has been everywhere recently. The six-disc box set, The Promise: The Darkness on The Edge of Town Story, was recently released in record stores. It includes the original album, the two-disc outtakes album and the documentary The Promise: Making The Darkness on The Edge of Town along with rare live footage.
