Coheed and Cambria gearing up for 10th anniversary tour

If that countdown on Coheed and Cambria’s website means what I think it does then this Spring is about to get real crazy real quick.

By going to Co&Ca’s website, you’ll notice a countdown with a radar and an annoying beeping sound. The headline of the countdown reads “NEVERENDER:SSTB” which, to the non-fan, is a bunch of malarkey. But you know better, don’t you? SSTB refers to the band’s debut LP, The Second Stage Turbine Blade, which was released in 2002. And Neverender refers to their Neverender Tour back in 2008 where they played all four of their concept albums in four nights in four different cities. And since they started their career in 2001…and now it’s 2011…which means 10 years have gone by…it’s all starting to come together now, isn’t it?

All of the final details for this 10th anniversary outing will be revealed on Monday, January 10th at 1:00 p.m. EST. So until that moment, feel free to guess where they’ll be appearing.

If this hits LA, I may check it out. Neverender was one of the finest musical experiences of my life. Coheed always delivers live, but I must agree that beeping sound is a tad annoying.
