Report: Queens of the Stone debut album re-issue coming in March

The deluxe re-issue of Queens of the Stone Age’s self-titled, debut album was originally supposed to be released on January 11th but has now been postponed until March 1st.

Ipecac Records, the company behind the re-issue, released a statement via Twitter that they had postponed the album’s re-release on both CD and vinyl. The reason behind the postponing was due to a label shift. A statement from Domino Records was released stating that they were partnering with Josh Homme’s Rekords Rekords and that they would be the ones to release the re-issue (via CoS).

The album, which was originally released in 1998, will include all the tracks from the original LP along with three bonus tracks — “The Bronze,” “These Aren’t The Droids You’re Looking For” and “Spiders and Vinegaroons.”
