I'm giving away my turntable! With Record Store Day coming in April, my turntable needs to be upgraded. But rather than throw my old one away or give it to someone who won't appreciate it, I'd rather give it to one of you!
So watch the video up top to see how you can win my turntable and play all your own vinyl records courtesy of the RiO!B. Read More

Win tickets to see Linkin Park from the RiO!B

Friday, January 21st, 2011

Listen up, guys. That one band called Linkin Park, who I hear is starting to become quite popular, have kicked off their North American tour in support of their new album, A Thousand Suns. Now while I may not be the biggest LP fan, I was lucky enough to catch them at a show in NYC last year and, to be quite honest, those fuckers can bring a crowd to life. But why should I have all the fun? Let's give some of you a chance to see what I'm talking about.

Thursday, January 20th, 2011

With all the hype Soundgarden built up in 2010, you would think that they would try and keep it going right into 2011. But that doesn't seem to be the case as Chris Cornell has announced a solo acoustic "Songbook" tour in April. Not that that's a bad thing!

Watch: She & Him – “Don’t Look Back”

Thursday, January 20th, 2011

If there's one thing I love more than Zooey Deschanel...it's multiple Zooey Deschanels!
Which is why this music video for She & Him's "Don't Look Back" is a dream come true for me. The clip, which is based around 1950's promo films for the "modern" era, features Deschanel cloning herself and singing backup on her own vocals while M. Ward lays down a dancey guitar rhythm. Oh, if only the '50s were really like this.  Read More
