Queen re-issuing first five albums

2011 marks the 40th anniversary of Queen which means, since it’s a milestone year, the band is going to be on everyone’s mind yet again…which is always a good thing.
Consequence of Sound reports that the Freddie Mercury-fronted band will re-issue all 15 of their albums this year and the first five – 1973′s Queen, 1974′s Queen 2, 1974′s Sheer Heart Attack, 1975′s A Night at the Opera and 1976′s A Day at the Races – will be re-issued with additional bonus tracks on March 14th.
All the albums will come in standard and two-disc deluxe editions. The deluxe editions will cost a bit more but that’s only because you’re getting more bang for the buck. B-sides, live cuts, alternate takes of songs and more will pepper the second disc of every re-issued album. Furthermore, if you’re someone that has gone completely digital, the deluxe editions will also be available on iTunes. The tracklisting for the five albums, including the bonus stuff, is down below.
