Watch: Green Day – “Cigarettes and Valentines”
Green Day’s forthcoming live album is called Awesome as Fuck and I would argue that this song help’s the title’s case.
The song “Cigarettes and Valentines,” which was supposed to be the title track of the album that was going to be released instead of American Idiot, can now be watched up top. The song may be standard three-chord fare, like most of their songs, but it’s catchy and will stay in your head all day.
Green Day plays the song in Japan along with all the songs on the DVD that comes with the live CD. Awesome as Fuck comes out on March 22nd and captures the live songs that were played during the band’s 2010 21st Century Breakdown world tour.

omfg this is awesome, saw greenday in uk birmingham lg areana on my birthday, 28th october was ACTUALLY OF THE HOOK HOW GOOD IT WAS, and i saw them at milton keynes on the second best gig of 2004 or something voted by nme

hey, its actually not from Japan. The whole dvd is but this song its a bonus on the dvd and its different clips from denver Chula vista and other places they only played it 5 times in like 3 different places. You can tell its different clips the guitar isnt the same his hair goes from black to blond and his pants change.
