Foo Fighters, Gorillaz releasing material on Record Store Day

Boom! Foo Fighters and Gorillaz are getting into the Record Store Day mix and are releasing some material for you to pick up from your indie record store on April 16th.

Gorillaz aren’t releasing anything new but they are releasing their “iPad” album, The Fall, which was originally released on Christmas Day, on vinyl. If, for some reason, you’re not down with vinyl, the album will be released on CD and as a digital download on April 19th.

As for them Foos, they’ll be releasing a limited edition covers album on vinyl called Medium Rare. Furthermore, the White Limo from the infamous “White Limo” video will be appearing at indie record stores all across the country to promote their forthcoming album, Wasting Light, which is in stores on April 12th.

Head to Record Store Day’s website to see what indie record store near you is participating in the holiday and what will be sold.
