311 and Sublime With Rome touring this summer
If this were 1995 and the announcement of a 311/Sublime tour were made, people would be losing their shit right now. But it’s 2011, 311 hasn’t released a good album in a while and Sublime is now With Rome. How times have changed.
But these two summertime bands are hitting the road together starting July 8th in Bonner Springs, Kansas for the Unity tour. The party comes to a close on August 26th in Seattle and all along the way, the bands will be playing amphitheaters for tons of nostalgic fans yearning to sing along to “Date Rape” and “Come Original.” Tickets for some shows will first go on sale March 26th through 311.com.
Having seen both of these bands individually, I’ll proudly say I had a great time at both shows. So I’m considering hitting up the Holmdel, NJ show to see if I can get into a summertime groove with both bands at the same time…I better bring loads of herb with me.
