Listen: Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi w/Jack White – “The Rose With a Broken Neck”

Did any of you guys get the singles “Two Against One” and “Black” from the forthcoming album, Rome, on Record Store Day? Well, I hope you listened to ‘em because I got another track from the album for you to check out called “The Rose With a Broken Neck” featuring the renaissance man of rock, Jack White.
The album, which is based on the music of spaghetti westerns, is out on May 17th. This track has White singing in a higher pitched voice, almost yelping, over another haunting melody that features a full chorus backing him. I cannot wait for this album to hit stores. Neither should you. Shout out to Some Kind Of Awesome for the track.

Hmm… took me a little while to fully get into this sound. But after that passed I loved it.
Also reading about the whole thing with the Spaghetti Western thing, it kinda made more sense.
There’s something hypnotising about this track, and I really digg it.

How many songs will Jack White be singing on throughout this album?
