Hopefully you've got your schedule for Record Store Day all set. But if you live in Nashville, you might want to make time for this.
Jerry Lee Lewis, The Killer himself, will perform on April 16th at Jack White's Third Man Records. Furthermore, the entire show will be recorded and produced by Jack White himself. After the show's recorded, it'll be available for purchase on vinyl a few weeks later.
Tickets are for $30 and are on sale at the Third Man… Read More

Watch: Kings of Leon documentary trailer

Tuesday, April 5th, 2011

Now that the Foo Fighters are putting out their rock documentary, Foo Fighters: Back and Forth, it seems like everyone wants to cash in on the rock doc game. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy a good rock documentary, but I don't want bands releasing them just because it seems like the cool thing to do now. Which is why I'm a bit suspect of Kings of Leon and their upcoming film, Talihina Sky: The Story of Kings of Leon.
Up top you can watch the trailer which features interviews with the band along with home movies and… Read More

Watch: LCD Soundsystem’s final show at Madison Square Garden

Sunday, April 3rd, 2011

LCD Soundsystem will be a bittersweet band for me from now on. My first time seeing them was at Terminal 5 in NYC but it was two nights before their final show at Madison Square Garden on April 2nd. So while I enjoyed myself thoroughly at the concert, I realize it will be the last time I see them (until the reunion that is bound to happen 3-5 years from now but we'll speculate later.)
But thanks to the people over at Pitchfork (there's something… Read More

The first single, "Adolescents," premieres online on Monday at 9pm est. You'll be able to check it out at Incubus's website… Read More

Down below, thanks to Some Kind Of… Read More
