Watch: Death Cab for Cutie – “Home is a Fire”
Indie-rockers and street art aficionados, rejoice! The brand new video from Death Cab for Cutie merges the two worlds together in the video for “Home is a Fire” from their forthcoming album, Codes and Keys. The video was conceived by Shepard Fairey, the street artist known for plastering warped images of Andre the Giant around the world, and DCFC bassist Nicholas Harmer. The end result is Fairey plastering the lyrics of the song all over L.A. while splicing in “artistic” shots of the city that fall in and out of focus.
Codes and Keys is out on May 31st.
