Watch: Jane’s Addiction – “End to the Lies”
A new Jane’s Addiction music video AND naked chicks? File this one under watch right now…but probably not at work. You know what tight asses bosses can be with the whole “This is against company policy!” and “You’re fired” routines. Seriously, they need to lighten up.
ANYWAYS, up top is the video for “End to the Lies,” JA’s new single from the forthcoming album, The Great Escape Artist, which is out this fall apparently (thanks to Stereogum). The brilliant minds at ShadowMachine Films, who are responsible for the stop-motion stuff you see on Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken, put this clip together that features the band being painted on naked women. The end result is right up there for you to watch.

[...] We’ve got ourselves a confirmation date. Jane’s Addiction will release their newest album, The Great Escape Artist, on September 27th. This is the band’s first studio album since 2003′s Strays. Up top, you can check out a behind the scenes video of the band working on the album in studio mixed with live footage. Also, a reminder that this album features TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek on bass and as a producer which means the album will probably have a bit of depth to it.
