Watch: Radiohead play brand new song, “Staircase”

A brand new song from Radiohead? Phil Selway has a doppelganger? This is no joke, people. Up top is video of Radiohead playing a brand new track called “Staircase” which they perform on their Live From the Basement performance which will air on the BBC on July 1st.

If you’ve been wondering how Radiohead would play all the songs from The King of Limbs live on the program, you finally get your answer as the use of synthesizers, electric drums and sparse guitars are put into play. Also, the second bald drummer that isn’t Phil? That’s Clive Deamer who Selway calls “one of my favorite drummers.” So if this guy gets Radiohead’s approval then you know he’s gotta be good.

Check out the new, catchy track up top and be sure to watch RH perform all of The King of Limbs on Live From the Basement on July 1 on the BBC.
