We got quite a few significant anniversaries in rock music this year. It's Pearl Jam's 20th anniversary, the 20th anniversary of Nirvana's 1991 album, Nevermind, and also the 30th anniversary of Metallica's existence. So why shouldn't one of the loudest bands in metal wanna throw a party?

The movie, directed by Cameron Crowe, features rare and unseen footage from the band that spans the history of their 20-year career. Watch: Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds – “The Death of You and Me”
Monday, July 25th, 2011So up top we got Noel Gallagher's first entry of the Battle between the Gallaghers. The video is for the track, "The Death of You and Me," which appears on Noel's debut solo album, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. The track is a mix of country/southern jazz music and definitely not what you would expect from the former Oasis guitarist. But it's actually kind of catchy in an unusual sort of way.
