Coheed and Cambria bassist arrested
Behold the picture of an idiot.
This idiot is also known as Michael Todd aka the bassist for Coheed and Cambria. ToddIdiot was arrested Sunday night for allegedly holding up a Walgreen’s pharmacy only a few hours before the band was supposed to open for Soundgarden in Massachusetts. Idiot walked into the pharmacy a few hours before the show and showed the pharmacist a note on his cell phone saying he would detonate a bomb if he wasn’t given oxycontin. Idiot took six bottles and went back to the venue.
Police arrived at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA prior to the show’s start and arrested Idiot without any incident. He’s been charged with armed robbery and unlawful possession of narcotics and is being held on $10,000 bail.
As for the rest of Coheed, they’re not slowing down because of Idiot. They posted on their Tumblr page that Wes Styles will fill in for Idiot for the remainder of their tour.
Idiot.

I personally can’t help but feel bad for Mic Todd. He was obviously desperate, and not making good choices. (His getaway car was a fricken Taxi)But He had been addicted to heroin for years before getting sober in 2007. And recently he had been suffering from chronic arm pain due to playing so much. C&C is a band that tours Long, and often. And I believe that he got hooked on pain medication while attempting to treat a problem.
I live in MA. And for Armed Robbery is a 5 year minimum.
