We all saw when Radiohead first played The King of Limbs in its entirety during their "surprise" set at Glastonbury recently. But now, thanks to the internet, we have our first look at Radiohead performing the album in a studio setting on the BBC's telecast of Radiohead: The King of Limbs - Live From The Basement. Watch: The Strokes – “Taken For A Fool”

Friday, July 8th, 2011

Finally, a cool looking music video and it comes from the Strokes. Up top, you can check out the brand new video for the band's new single, "Taken For A Fool," (via CoS) which does feature the band simply performing the song but visually it knocks you right on your posterior. The way it was filmed makes it look like a mix of a 3D movie with a strange psychedelic look that features frontman Julian Casablancas appearing on different… Read More

Watch: Arctic Monkeys – “The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala”

Thursday, July 7th, 2011

The new album from Arctic Monkeys, Suck It and See, has birthed yet another music video, this time for the song, "The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala." But the video doesn't have a single Hellcat in it! WTF? Instead, we get to see super 8mm footage of the band on the road, performing on stage, warming up for shows and all that jazz. So unless the Hellcat is an easter egg somewhere in this vid, I would have just called this "Road Diary" or something. Ah well. Watch the video up top. Read More

Well up top is one of a few teasers that have been released by the band at their new website which, besides the videos, is quite bare.
Moreno said in a previous interview that the band had finished… Read More

Watch: Megadeth premiere new song in Germany, “Public Enemy No. 1″

Wednesday, July 6th, 2011

Aw, isn't that sweet? Megadeth thought the crowd in Germany was so nice that they decided to play them a brand new, never-before heard song called "Public Enemy No. 1". But thanks to the interweb, Megadeth pretty much played it for the whole world which is why we get to hear it as well.
The song comes from Megadeth's forthcoming album, according to Dave Mustaine as he tells the crowd in the video. So far, there's no title or release date for the album but at least you get a sneak peek, albeit a really grainy… Read More

The Raconteurs playing show in Michigan in September

Wednesday, July 6th, 2011

It was a sad day for me when I saw that the Raconteurs were going on a hiatus. Their album, Consolers of the Lonely, was the best album of 2008 in my opinion and I've been dying to see them in concert again. That chance may finally be coming.
Consequence of Sound reports that Jack White, Brendan Benson, Patrick Keeler and "Little" jack Lawrence are joining forces… Read More
